Curious about canning? Not sure where to start? Want to explore the different methods and learn why each is used? This is the workshop for you! Join us as we take a look at the world of canning! We'll discuss the different methods, equipment and canners used to preserve your favorite foods. After an overview, you'll be guided through the steps to prepare items and take them from raw ingredients to shelf stable jars. Join us for canning in action! $40/person: each participant will take home a jar of veggies that they prepared and canned themselves! Relax with the whole family at this unique countryside farmstay. As part of your stay you are welcome to participate in the daily barnyard chores and seasonal farming activities on this active working farm. Guests will be close to tax-free NH shopping, ski mountains, hiking, snowmobile trails, ponds, rivers and lakes for all seasons fishing and water sports.
We offer additional Experiences, Events and Workshops throughout the year. Some can even be privately scheduled for you during your stay!

Welcome to Foxx Run Farm, our focus is in homesteading and sharing our experiences through Agritourism. We operate farms in both Ossipee New Hampshire and Hiram Maine. We offer farm stays, experiences, workshops, barnyard birthday parties, snowshoeing and a chance to slow down and enjoy the farm life.
